What do our apprentices think?

When it comes to the benefit of our apprenticeships, don’t take our word for it. Here’s what some of our apprentices said!

“I came to Veolia without any qualifications so was really pleased to be given the opportunity of joining the apprenticeship programme. I have now completed my level 2 and 3 in Sustainable Waste Management and have been promoted to Supervisor. This has been a fantastic opportunity for me and has really boosted my confidence, it’s something I never thought I could achieve.”

“I think apprenticeships are great. I have gained really valuable work experience, working directly with customers and other teams, and learning about what other departments in the business do. I’ve earned a wage whilst training which is a real bonus, and I have made a really good start to my career.”

“I came to Veolia as an Engineering apprentice and have really enjoyed the programme. I have learnt loads on the course and have had a chance to use my new skills at work every day. I am now taking a higher apprenticeship which will bring lots of new opportunities for development for me and allow me to get on. I would recommend apprenticeships to anyone.”
